Project Duration: January 1, 2025 – July 31, 2025
Objectives :
1.To improve the quality of life of older adults in the community through the RMU BEESTH Model Curriculum in Health Innovation – SMART PROGRAM (Body and Health), led by Dr. Adisak Palasan.
2.To enhance the quality of life of older adults in the community through the RMU BEESTH Model Curriculum in Cultural Wisdom Innovation – Thai Music (Emotion), led by Mr. Natthawut Pruksasri.
3.To develop the quality of life of older adults in the community through the RMU BEESTH Model Curriculum in Integrated Technology Innovation (Technology), led by Mr. Songphon Namkhun.
4.To promote the quality of life of older adults in the community through the RMU BEESTH Model Curriculum in Creative Economy Innovation (Economic), led by Ms. Phichthipa Suwannsri.
5.To monitor, evaluate, and summarize lessons learned from improving older adults’ quality of life through the RMU BEESTH Model Curriculum, conducted by the central project team.

Results :
1.Establishment of external networks for community service and research focused on improving the quality of life of older adults through the RMU BEESTH Model Curriculum.
2.Development of occupational skills in creative economy innovation (Economic).
3.Creation of Smart Aging innovations that apply integrated technology (Technology) to design assistive devices for older adults in the community.
4.Development of the SMART PROGRAM Health Innovation Curriculum (Body and Health).
5.Formation of a Thai traditional music band (Emotion) by older adults in the community to perform and generate income.
6.Establishment of a model community for improving older adults’ quality of life through the RMU BEESTH Model process.
7.Emergence of model elderly individuals who serve as examples of improved quality of life through the RMU BEESTH Model.
8.Integration of academic courses with community development activities to enhance older adults’ quality of life through the RMU BEESTH Model.
9.Development of model social engineering students engaged in improving the quality of life for older adults through the RMU BEESTH Model.
10.Creation of community learning centers dedicated to improving the quality of life of older adults using the RMU BEESTH Model.
Results society :
Economic Aspect:
1.Target groups increased their household income by 10%.
2.Target groups developed occupational skills to generate income for themselves, their families, and their communities.
Social Aspect:
1.Model communities were established to improve the quality of life for older adults through the RMU BEESTH Model Curriculum.
Educational Aspect:
1.Academic courses were integrated with the project’s implementation.
2.Communities became learning spaces for students from Rajabhat Maha Sarakham University.
3.Students, particularly from programs such as Social Sciences for Local Development, applied their knowledge to collaborate with local communities in real field practice for problem-solving and development.
4.The project provided a research and development database for lecturers, researchers, and students to engage in participatory community work.
Environmental Aspect:
1.The project improved the living environment by designing and renovating houses suitable for older adults in the community.
Policy Aspect:
1.Policy recommendations were developed to support the creation of local administrative organizations’ five-year development plans.
2.Policy recommendations were also provided to inform Rajabhat Maha Sarakham University’s academic and research action plans.
Networking Aspect:
1.Rajabhat Maha Sarakham University expanded its area-based collaboration network under the Rajabhat Village Research and Academic Service Network.
Participation :
Model social engineering students collaborated with faculty members and the project team to drive and implement the project.
Project continuity :
The project aims to promote the development and improvement of older adults’ quality of life in all aspects through the RMU BEESTH Model Curriculum. This curriculum supports lifelong learning and personal growth for the elderly, consisting of the following key components:
Health Innovation – SMART PROGRAM (Body and Health), led by Dr. Adisak Palasan.
Cultural Wisdom Innovation – Thai Music (Emotion), led by Mr. Natthawut Pruksasri.
Integrated Technology Innovation (Technology), led by Mr. Songphon Namkhun.
Creative Economy Innovation (Economic), led by Ms. Phichthipa Suwannsri.
Monitoring, Evaluation, and Lesson Learned (Project Coordination Team) to assess and summarize the outcomes of improving older adults’ quality of life through the RMU BEESTH Model process.
Problems obstacles :
Appointments were made with target groups and communities to organize activities at appropriate times.
Improvement :
The project team initially used their own budget to carry out some activities while waiting for the official budget, which was delayed. As a result, some project activities could not be implemented as planned.
Suggestions :
The budget should be allocated according to the planned schedule.
