Project Implementation Area : Suakokwitayasan School ตำบล Suea Kok อำเภอ Wapi Pathum จังหวัด Maha Sarakham 44120

Project Duration: January 29, 2025 – February 7, 2025

Objectives :
To study and find approaches for developing traditional technology and modern technology being suitable for the livelihood and jobs of local people, including to explore ways to promote the balanced and sustainable management, maintenance, and utilization of natural resources and the environment.

Activities :
The activities began with using analytical thinking skills viewing problems as challenges (Thinker), collaborating with teachers and students of Sua Kok Witthayasan School. This was followed by a practical activity applying communication skills for problem-solving knowledge sharing (Communicator). The speaker of the project then led a practical activity focusing on collaboration skills, mobilizing resources and manpower to solve problems (Coordinator), and a practical activity on innovation skills for solving social problems (Innovator). Subsequently, the community's local knowledge was presented, leading to solutions, development, and the creation of innovations for the Sua Kok Witthayasan School community.
This process made the students aware of their own responsibilities, the importance of unity, and the courage to inquire, narrate, and seek factual information from the community, teachers, and students.

Number of project participants: 210 people

Project Budget: 100,000 Baht

Results :
Students acquired the knowledge and skills to seek approaches for developing suitable traditional technology and modern technology for the livelihood and occupation of local people. As a result, the school is able to learn about the management of egg-laying chicken farming and can genuinely extend the resulting products for consumption within the school and the community.

Results society :
The community creates learning resources that can be utilized in a circular manner, serving as a source of knowledge, a food source, and can be sustainably developed for business expansion.

Participation :
The students were trained in social engineering skills and were able to transfer knowledge to the community, resulting in the identification of problems and solutions, additionally, the creation of innovations that the school has been able to utilize to this day.

Project continuity :
Tracking the egg production monthly shows that the hens continuously lay eggs; therefore, they are used as food for students and allowed for the sale of a portion to nearby communities.

Problems obstacles :
Long distance and limited budget

Improvement :
The university should increase the budget in order to increase production.

Suggestions :
The university should add more budget in order to increase production in nearby area.
